Hello group, I have just gotten back from 1 week in wonderful Maine, and I saw Whitneyville of course!! A cute little town. I just wanted to mention to anyone researching in Maine, I was at several town offices, and one in particular had lots!!! and I mean lots, of Whitney info. This town office was Jonesboro, ME, I did not record them as there were just too many, and I was directly looking for two other lines of mine in Maine. Believe me, you cannot be dispersive while in a town office. I just thought I would let you all know that, that town office is a sure hit, I will eventually send to the list any Whitney info that may have occured in my other search transcribing, but it will be little.
