    1. [WHITNEY-L] Possible resource for finding late 19th C. people
    2. Dear WRG: Ancestry.com publishes a daily newsletter in which they announce their "free" databases that are opened for a short period to anyone. This is done to advertise their wares and secure new members. Nonetheless, it is possible that they might hit a resource for that short period that would be useful to someone in the WRG. It doesn't take very long to open the e-mail and view the free databases right at the top of the newsletter to see if one of them might provide an opportunity not otherwise to be found. In this issue: - Databases of the Day: ----- Amesbury, Massachusetts Directory, 1891 ----- Chatham Township, Bothwell County, Ontario, Canada Census, 1901 ----- Wisconsin Marriage Index, 1820-1907 ----- Atlanta Journal-Constitution (GA) Obituaries, 1998-99 To subscribe to this newsletter, visit http://www.ancestry.com and type your e-mail address in the box provided, or send an e-mail message to: mailto:ancestry_daily_news@anclist001.ancestry.com with the word "subscribe" in the subject line. Hope this helps someone. Allan E. Green
