Dear WRG, After reading this email, a reunion sounds very nice to me. Carolyn writes that a good place to have this reunion might be at a golf course. The town I live in has a really nice golf course. It is about three minutes from where I live. There are numerous old cemeteries within a radius of about thirty to fifty miles. There are Whitney's in each of these. About three miles from where I live are about six new hotels. The surrounding towns have a wealth of old Inns. Stockbridge is about an hour away. The Wayside Inn in Sudbury is about thirty minutes.(Good food) Plymouth Plantation is about one and a half hours. Lafayette House in Wrentham a half hour.(Good food) The best caterers one minute from where I live. Watertown is about forty five minutes. Westboro Mass. is about fifteen minutes. Marlboro about twenty minutes. Natick, Mass. about half an hour.Mendon and Upton ten minutes. The HUB, Boston about an hour away. Worcester and Shrewsbury about twenty five minutes. Easy access routes to Vermont and Maine. The ocean and the mountains. Did they not start in Watertown and the surrounding towns. There is a wealth of history in this area. The Mohawk Trail is about two hours away. It is beautiful in the fall. Lots of Good food in New England. Boston has so much. Conn. and Rhode Island about an hour or so. Thats my input.
