    3. Bev - are the below from Concord VRs? Here's the info I've dug up so far on this family: John Fletcher (son of Corp. Samuel and Elizabeth (Wheeler) Fletcher) b. Concord, Mass. 26 Aug 1692; d. 1749 Middlesex County, Mass.; m. circa Mary (?) (one person thinks her surname is GOBLE, but haven't found anything else about her). Children of John and Mary (?) Fletcher: 1. Martha Fletcher, b. 16 May 1716, Concord, Mass. (possibly the Martha who m. 5 Mar 1732 in Weston, Mass., Solomon Whitney, s. of Nathaniel and Mercy (Robinson) Whitney.) 2. John Fletcher, b. 31 Jan 1718, Concord, Mass. 3. Abigail Fletcher, b. 20 Jul 1720, Concord, Mass. (possibly the Abigail who m. 20 Oct 1741 in Weston, Mass., Lt. Samuel Whitney, s. of William and Martha (Peirce) Whitney.) 4. Elisha Fletcher, b. circa 1724 (total guess on date - name from Robert Ward's message) 5. David Fletcher, b. 18 Jan 1726; m. 6 Jul 1749 Jerusha Wheeler. Sources: Fletcher, Edward H., "Fletcher Genealogy" article, NEHGR Vol 22 pp 389-392 (Oct 1868); and Fletcher, Edward H., "The Descendants of Robert Fletcher of Concord, Mass." (1881, Boston) Maybe there's another Fletcher book. I'll see what NEHGS has in their lending library. 3. Jeanne - Thee are two histories of New Ipswich, NH that contain genealogical information on its "principal families", which include Fletchers with Concord, MA origins: History of New Ipswich (Boston: Gould and Lincoln 1852), (I can't find the author's name in my notes or on the my copy of the title page) Chandler, History of New Ipswich, New Hampshire 1735-1914 (Fitchburg, MA 1914) The Chandler work, "compiled and written by Charles Henry Chandler with the assistance of Sarah Fiske Lee" is particularly thorough. The Fletcher family appears at pages 408 through 428. John

    3. Thank you, John! Do you have copies of the Fletcher pages in Chandler? If so, does it have Abigail and Martha with their husbands?
