Some are wills, some are guardianships, etc. The next line is the year of the court filing. The next line is the box and folder location of the petition for ordering purposes. The final lists the names of all persons named in the petition. Yates County has indexed the first 180 boxes of court records that they have, up to about 1903. If anyone is up to the task, there are many many more to be indexed. These are great people, I have met them and they let you order online, the records are inexpensive and they are prompt in returning records photocopied in such a manner that you can actually read them!
