Sandy: If that surname came from Ancestral File or the IGI at SLC or in one of the various databases collected by a commercial entity such as Ancestry.com, I don't think it has any basis in fact. The discovery of her surname is always possible, but as one who has spent dozens of hours in the library of the Society of Genealogists in London, searching for a record of this marriage, I really would have to see some significant original source cited before I would start taking it seriously. It's probably about as valid as the entry that says she came from St. Margaret's Warwick, when there is NO parish of St. Margaret's anywhere in all of Warwickshire. St. Margaret's Westminster is the parish where John's father and mother worshipped, where their children were christened, and is located on the grounds of Westminster Abbey in London.
