Rachel _____ ; said to have settled at Chenango with his brothers, but removed after 1812 to Rochester, N.Y., where he d." This is John 6 (Thomas 5 / William 4 / William 3 / Joshua 2 / John 1), whose mother was Elizabeth Boardman. He's #1408 in Pierce: http://www.whitneygen.org/archives/extracts/pierce/p111-115.htm Cutter and Pierce are silent as to his fate. Has anyone run across him in researching Rochester Whitneys?
