In scanning through a genealogy of a Poston family, I found the following kindred. They appear to have resided in Kentucky. Hester Farra (27 Mar 1796-22 Sep 1863) m. (1) 1813 John Cassell (10 Jan 1785-30 Mar 1815) and (2) 1823 Elias B. Poston. Hester and John had one son, Samuel Farra Cassell (17 Mar 1838-6 Sep 1852) who married 29 Nov. 1838 Sarah B. Bryan (5 Mar 1816-27 July 1894). They had 9 children: Eudora B., Margaret Bryan, William Bryan, Maltha Elley, Mary B., Eugene Aaron, Alpheus Lewis, Laura Latham, and Sam Anna Cassell. Eugene Aaron Cassell (1847-1900) m 16 Mar 1869 Amanda Telford Whitney (1852-1927). They had 7 children. i. Daniel Bryan Cassell (1 Dec 1869-12 May 1870) ii. Eugenia Whitney Cassell (b 10 Sep 1871) iii. Sallie Gay Cassell (29 Sep 1873-8 Apr 1884) iv. Georgia Bryan Cassel (23 Dec 1875-21 Nov 1877) v. Anna Belle Cassell (17 Dec 1879-10 Jan 1971) vi. Terah Dunlap Cassell (3 Apr 1886-20 Apr 1915) see below vii. Whitney Weir Cassel (b. 29 July 1894) see below Terah Dunlap Cassell m 7 Sep 1910 John Steele (b 30 Oct 1882). They had one daughter, i. Dorothy Whitney Steele (b 5 Jan 1912) who married 14 Jan 1934 Henry Barnes Biggerstaff (b 25 Jan 1909) and had one son, John Whitney Biggerstaff (b 25 Nov 1934) Whitney Weir Cassell married 6 Jan 1923 Nancy Naomi Zuerne (b. 6 Mar 1897). They lived in Tucson, Arizona and had three children: i. James Whitney Cassell (b 22 Jan 1924) ii. Margaret Anne Cassell (b. 23 Nov 1928) iii.
