My comments: Early vital records of various counties of MA (I have Essex, Middlesex, Bristol, Suffolk, Worcester, Norfolk) -- very useful - these are scans of the various town VRs printed after 1850. Their indices have been been made searchable. From "Search and Research" Marriage index of CT. I am not happy with this. Maybe I haven't learned how to get the right data out, but I don't seem to find sources listed. From "Family Tree Maker" Marriage index of MA. Ditto. Rhode Island Vital Records 1636-1930. Haven't used enough yet to form an opinion. From "Ancestry.com" The Complete Book of Emigrants (by Coldham). Could be very useful. Completely searchable. From "Family Tree Maker" Genealogical Records: Gen. Dict. of New England. Includes a completely searchable version of Savage's four volumes and of Noyes/Libby/Davis's Dictionary for Maine and NH. Since it is straight text, you can cut and paste a paragraph into your favorite word processor. From "Family Tree Maker" Local and Family Histories: CT 1600s-1800s. Scans of books on Fairfield, Guilford, Hartford, Milford, Weathersfield, WIndsor, Woodbridge. I haven't used much yet. From "Family Tree Maker" I purchased all these from NEHGS on line or by phone. Hope this helps. George Parker
