Listers, Could someone clear up the following confusion for me, please? Charles A. WHITNEY, son of Augusta/Augustas/Augustus A. WHITNEY, is shown in the John & Elinor database as having been born abt 1825 in Hoosick, *Franklin* Co., NY (which was organized in 1808 from Clinton Co.) However, I find Hoosick on the map to be in *Rennsalaer* Co., NY (which was organized in 1791 from Albany Co.). Would anyone know where Charles A. WHITNEY was actually born? --And what evidence there is of it? Thanks, Theola Walden Baker
