Dear Friends & Loopsters: I am starting to get behind on my e-mail and it's not fair to the people who expect/deserve answers to questions we've been discussing. As a banker, this recent fall in interest rates has triggered a good bit of business for me, and that means less time for fun stuff like genealogy. These little boomlets always subside at some point, but I will participate less regularly online, as I must give priority to my business. Long story short: if I am somewhat unresponsive on matters that DO interest me, it's certainly not a personal issue with anybody on the loops; it's just a matter of budgeting my time. So, I will jump in when I can but don't necessarily expect a reply ... I will catch up as best I can ... just wanted to give you a "heads up" to avoid the appearance of being rude - or something like that. I use this hotmail.com address for genealogy, and I get well over 100 e-mails a day, from all the loops. If you have a *personal* matter to discuss, please just send a note to my "permanent" e-mail address: s-wallace-7@alumni.uchicago.edu. Having more biz is great, but I do hope to get back to a more regular schedule soon. Back ASAP - Steven
