Would like to connect with Whitney "cousins" who descend from Jacob N. and Sarah S. Whitney. Jacob was born in New York; Sarah (Brundrett) was born in Connecticut. Children were Hannah, Malinda, Joseph B., Mary Jane, and possibly a William. Hannah's married name was BARKER and she had three known children. Malinda married a BARRETT. Any connections to this Whitney family would be welcome; Jacob and his brother Joseph B. joined the Civil War from Quincy, Illinois. Both came to MN later along with father, John Franklin Whitney.
