Yes, I am not really sure but I think your lake was near Webster, Mass. There are numerous lakes around here named after Indian tribes. We already had a discussion last year about this lake. If I remember it is in Mass. but close to the Conn. border. I am thinking, Webster,Manchaug, East Douglas, Oxford, in this area. On the other list, someone knew the exact meaning of this name.
