What lines are you researching right now? Regarding Adams, YES - good timing! In fact, I am presently spending my best hours on Adams, having just finished the first page of a new web site entitled "The Descendants of Henry Adams & Elizabeth Edith Squire" .... that GEDCOM is a monster! Back in the 1600s, my Shattucks, Whitneys and Bloods were a tight group. Several Shattucks married Bloods ... and Whitneys too. Regarding a Whitney reunion, YES - I am interested, if it's not too far. I would probably want to take my brood with me and we live on the east coast. To this day, I have Wallace and Whitney cousins all over the Fitchburg, MA area ... the Fitchburg phone book might make a good mailing list for the reunion <g>. Seriously though, I am interested in learning more about these families - and any reunions. Do you have any details yet? Would love to hear more ... 3. Hey Steve and WRG - I also have Bloods in my family. My Whitney - Arvilla Melissa Whitney, married George Peabody Blood, b. 1863, Grafton, VT. I know Arvilla lived in Brooklyn once she was married. Prior to that, I don't know, although a lead in St. Lawrence Co., N.Y. is interesting. My mother was a Blood, and I was born a Blood before my married when I was 8 years old. Do any of these names ring any bells? I'd love to chat with you. 3. Lyn, I found Steve on another list. I told him about the family reunion and I told him to subscribe to the WHITNEY-L@rootsweb.com then I ran his reply to me on the list so if anyone was connected or thought they were, they could make a contact.
