Hey Steve and WRG - I also have Bloods in my family. My Whitney - Arvilla Melissa Whitney, married George Peabody Blood, b. 1863, Grafton, VT. I know Arvilla lived in Brooklyn once she was married. Prior to that, I don't know, although a lead in St. Lawrence Co., N.Y. is interesting. My mother was a Blood, and I was born a Blood before my married when I was 8 years old. Do any of these names ring any bells? I'd love to chat with you.
