Does anyone have any information where the Southern Whitney's originated from? Southern being NC. Wanting to find the lineage of Nancy Whitney, known in Burke County, NC around 1828. Saw a marriage of a Nancy Whitney of Lincoln County abt 1824 to a Mr. Robinson. Hopefully some Whitney researcher has come across this line of Whitney's, :)
