To download PAF 4.0 for free go to www.familysearch.org a site by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Click on "Order / Download (stuff) from there go to software. There is a PAF 5.0 now and a manual to download for 4.0 It's free. The "LDS" has a huge commitment to family history starting in 1894, 2 million reels of microfilm etc in a granite vault in the mountain, 240 microfilmers around the world, etc, etc. The Family Search site is great. As well as the big Library in Salt Lake City Utah are Family History centers around the world that can order most everything on loan from SLC. At branch centers are volunteers there to help u w/ genealogy. See site for locations. Also can check local phone book for church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (nickname Mormon) some Fam Hist centers not at I net site, can find a nearby person to help U.
