Hey Y'all, Yep, I still wish I could find out for sure who the parents/line of my 5th or 6th great grandfather Col. Henry White was, and when they came over from Britain and from whence? I have been told that his father was Joseph White, but have no proof. All I do know for sure is from me back to him, which a lot of it came from my grandmother, her father, and a cousin in S.C. where the our White line settled, Mrs. R. L. Brooks (Della White). My great grandfather Rev. Wm. Henry White wrote that two brothers came from England in the early 1700s and one settled in Va and the other in S.C., he becoming Col. Henry White. But in my research I have found that Col. White lived in Orange Co., Va. for a while and that is where most of his kids were born, then he migrated to S.C. and settled in the Spartanburg area. If anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated.
