Your query piqued my curiosity. My Whites don't fit any of these, but my hubby's family has a Perry line out of Spotsylvania VA who migrated to Henry County KY after the Revolution. (Stopping at Bryans Station and Fayette and Woodford Counties for a few years.) What got me going on your post is one branch married into Brewers, another into Barretts. Spouse of one was Gerald Gaines Barrett, a Union officer, who died in the Civil War. Perhaps we can exchange some information to see if any ties. I have nothing more on the Barrett line, only his death date, August 26, 1864 in Atlanta GA. His widow settled in Scott Co Indiana and remarried to a Perry cousin who had served in the Confederacy. I don't know Kentucky well enough to know if Taylor or Green Counties are near Henry County.
