I'd ask why the family lost touch with each other. My grand aunt Fanny got together a lot of family history. By the time I got a copy, she and my grandfather had passed away and I couldn't ask them the tough questions. I've asked my mom, but she doesn't know either. I hosted a family reunion this past Saturday. Aunt Fanny's daughter Tish (91 yrs. young) joined us. It's the first time I'd seen her since before my teen years. I asked her why the family didn't stay closer. She didn't have a real answer, but assumed that it was because everyone was envolved in their families and hadn't time for extended families backwards. Thanks to all for answering my survey question. Most of you want to know what I wanted to know. Go back as far as they can with the family lines. Gr-grandparents or Gr-gr-grandparent names. I just wanted to say thank you for responding. Glitz
