I'm trying to verify this branch of my family. All I have is that Issac (or Isaac) White was born a Hitchcock; his fiancee, Abigail Virginia Coffin, persuaded him to change his name to White before they were married. Issac died in 1874. One of their children was Stephen Garner White b. 1825, d. 1878. He was my great grandfather. Would really like to know more about the Hitchcock line.
