I have an Elizabeth White who married Joel Westfall Jr, 4 Jan 1798 in Randolph Co WV. They lived in Buckhannon WV, near where she died 16 Jul 1820. She was the daughter of Elizabeth Wallace and William "Billy" White, d. 8 Mar 1781 in Buckhannon (among first pioneers there). I have a colorful rendition of a story about this Billy and his wife...but there was one key piece of info...that there were three brothers who came from Scotland... William, Jonathan and David. "Jonathan went south and was never heard from again...but William and David settled near Winchester VA" William and Elizabeth must have had at least one son, as she refers to living with him on Hickory Flat (near Buckhannon). The story I have is a recounting of her telling to her great grandson...reportedly when she was 102 years old, and he was 7(abt 1826). If you want to read it, I can email it to you...it must be said that Joel (the great grandson) was a well known story teller too!
