Thanks to a generous researcher who provided UDC look-up, I have found my g-g-grandfather's birthplace, birth date and death date! I have posted previously trying to i.d. him by his military service which I have know. Census records have placed him as both Georgia and SC born, but according to UDC he was born in Putnam Co.
