In reading through the White Family Recorder I see that Owen Payne White is supposedly related to this same branch of Whites as the excerpt below indicates: >From Vol. III, No. 2 of the White Family Recorder "THE recovery of the names of past ancestors and locating of descendants, requires time, patience and money; writing many letters and traveling many miles. As told in the last "Recorder", Rev. Alward White left a son, Alward M., who became a doctor. Hoping to find trace of him, I examined old medical directories. I found a Dr. Alward White in Shafter, Texas. Writing there, I was told that Dr. White had died in 1931 and referred to his brother, Owen P. White of Long Island. Mr. White answered that he was a grand-son of Dr. Alward M. White but had never kept up on the Family Tree, so referred me to his first cousin Emmet White of Gary, Ind."
