Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 26, from Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Chaplain Ervin L. Shirey officiating. Interment followed with full military honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. White was a native of Irwin, Pennsylvania having lived in various places while serving in the United States Army from which he retired after 24 1/2 years service. He worked in the Aircraft Repair Station at the Alabama Aviation and Technical College in Ozark, and was presently employed with Civil Service at Fort Rucker as an Academic Aviation Instructor. He was a member of the Fort Rucker Golf Club where he enjoyed playing frequently. His wife survives him, Mrs. Sarah A. White, Ozark; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Byrd White, Ozark, Joseph M. and his wife, Shauna White, Salt Lake City, Utah; his grandchildren, Heather, Ashleigh and Savannah White, Salt Lake City, Utah.
