Hello, List, I, too, am searching for more about "my" John A. WHITE. Federal Census Records show he was born (I believe early 1800's) at South Carolina. This John A. White married Eliza A. HART (perhaps at Alabama). John A. WHITE and his wife Eliza were the parents of Jehaza WHITE, born in 1845 at Alabama. Jehaza married James J. Kitchen. John A. WHITE was supposed to have lived in the Jeddo (a town) area of Monroe County, Alabama. I am searching for information about his death and burial, also.
