Our White family was in Anderson District , South Carolina until sometime after 1860. Osborn White was son Bartholomew and Polly (unknown) White Osborn was born about 1823, he married Permelia Stone. They had seven (7) children. John Barthomew.......... born about 1848 ..died in Alabama... Have wife and children for him. Buried at Ten Island in Calhoun Co. Al William Harrison............born about 1848 ...died in Oklahoma, have information about his family. Lewis .........................know very little about him. He was in Polk County Georgia in 1880 census Frances (female).........know nothing of her other than she was on the 1860 census with the family. Andrew Pinkney ...........born 1855 --died 1948....our direct line ..died in Alabama. Have a great deal of information on his family. Hugh..............have possible children for him.... in Alabama Osborn..... was born in 1862 either just before or after his father joined Orr's Rifles ..the father Osborn died at Dill Springs Va. in July 1862.
