I am searching for information on John Thomas White, went by Thomas, married to Amanda P. Harbert White, had 9 children one of which was my grandfather, Edgar Allen White. Johns parents are from Ireland and all I know is that a White married an O'Neal and came here from Ireland. John was born in Troy, New York in 1848 and later moved to Clark County, Illinois and married and moved to East Tennessee around 1890. The names of John & Amanda's children are: Edgar Allen (b.1891 d.1975), John Herbert(b.1877 d.1922), Emma Izetta (married Frank Clark), (b. 1879 d.1911), Ella White (married George Tade), (b.1883 d. 1966), Roy Daniel(b.1886 d. 1957), Thomas Neal (b. 1893, d. 1918), Marvin Benjamin (b. 1895 d. 1965), Grace Alice (married Joe Larue), (b.1879 d. 1959), & Homer (b. 1888 d. 1967).
