    1. [WHITE] Moses and Hugh White
    2. All of us are trying to piece these "White" bits together into lines and to help do this I would like for all of us to be as specific as possible as to WHEN and WHERE our specific named ancestors lived. For example, there have been scads of Moses and Hugh White's. and, I imagine most descended from Old Moses and Hugh White, the brothers who had immigrated to PA in 1717-19. I am pretty sure that there were many of their descendants have had those same names. Old Hugh had a son named Moses and he settled on Davidson's Creek on the upper Catawba River in Rowan Co., NC, whereas Old Hugh's brother who is named Moses settled in New Castle, Delaware, and dispersed from there. My gt(3rd) GF, Hugh, who settled (mid 1700's) in Mecklenburg, NC, was from Lancaster Co., PA. Paul R. White

    3. Paul -- Nothing would please me more than to be able to do that. Unfortunately, I cannot find another record of Jessee White or Grace Harwood in Rowan County, NC except for their November 1802 marriage papers.
