Joseph Sr. b ca 1710, d 11 Feb 1808 DE, md 1st Elizabeth Leeth, md 2nd Margaret Leeth Carolus info found in LDS library book area W582wde by David Ellison White, 1995. This family lived in PA and relocated to NC ca 1750. Allied families include; Brown, Beeman, Bray, Erwin, McSwain, Andrews, Baccus, Gowin, Dodd, Rubottom, Avery, Rutherford , Smith and many others. Above book contains a number of family histories. Some cover almost 200 years. Go to your local Latter Day Saints Family History Center to order a loan of this book if interested. Very reasonable. According to Andrews family information, brothers; Stephanus and Carolus moved from DE to Lancaster Co PA and settled near Phila where they worked as shoemakers. Carolus/Charles later moved to Orange Co NC in 1760, Stephanus relocated there in 1761 but did not like the land and ended up at Haw Field in Currently called Alamance Co NC. Carolus/Charles White Dr. b Aug 1727 married Margareta Van Culen, [dau. of Regner Von Culen and Annika Skaggan]. Their ch were said to be; 1. David b ca 1754, d 1881 NC 2. John b ca 1755, d NC 3. Susannah b ca 1756, md Benjamin Brown 4. Hannah b 26 Nov 1758, d Sept 1774 NC 5. Stephan b 25 Mar 1755 , d 1829 NC, md Mary Rushton 6. Ann b ca 1760 md Thomas Andrews 7. Charles Jr. b ca 1770, d ca 1848 TN, md Leah Rubottom 8. Jesse b ca 1774, d ca 1824 TN, md Elizabeth Culin 9. Joseph b ca 1778 Pendleton Dist. William White, James Coupland [Copeland?], Wm. Gibbon. Prvd. Jan Court 1762. Notice above that I have not collected any info about William White who obviously was a brother to Hugh and Moses.
