    2. Garnett Parker Connor was born Fern Garnett WHITE. Her obituary is copied below. Her grandfather, Simon WHITE, came from Greene Co., IN, and homesteaded south of Hershey, NE. Her g grandfather, Warren WHITE, b. IN, served in the Civil War from Indiana. Her gg grandfather, David WHITE, came from Pulaski Co., KY and settled in Harrison Twp, Clay County, Indiana. He fought in the war of 1812, at New Orleans, Louisiana, enlisted while living in Pulaski, KY. Her ggg grandfather, Edward WHITE, lived in Pulaski Co., KY, died 25 Mar 1815, of Camp Jackson, LA, died during his military service in the war of 1812. She was born Dec. 30, 1908, in Hershey to Talmage and Gertrude Ziegenhagen White. She at-tended school and graduated from Star High School in 1926 and received her Teacher's certifi-cate from Kearney State Teachers College in 1927. She married Irvin Parker in Wray, Colo., in August of 1928. She married William Connor in North Platte on Oct. 29, 1971. She worked at the North Platte Public Library for 17 years. She was a member of the North Platte Presbyterian Church and the Sarah Rebekah Lodge No. 10. Survivors include two sons, Harvey Parker of North Platte and Norlin (Janice) Parker of Omaha; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Parker of Mesa, Ariz.; two sisters, Dorothy Graham of Hershey and Frieda Smith of Lubbock, Texas; a brother, DeWitt White of North Platte; nine grandchil-dren; and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Irvin Parker and William Connor; son, Curtis; daughter-in-law, Marilyn Parker; sister, Irene Parker; a grandson; and a great grandson. A memorial has been established to the donor's choice and online condolences can be made at www.adamsswanson.com. Memorial services will be Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Adams & Swanson Chapel. Garnett's wishes were that her remains be donated to science. Inurnment will be at the North Platte Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to sign the book may do so from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through service time on Tuesday.
