I've "rescued" the original marriage certificate belonging to Daniel MITCHEL and Phebe WHITE who were married in Bucks County, Pennsylvania on the 27th day of January 1842. Both the bride and groom were from Lower Makefield, PA according to the certificate. The marriage was conducted by Daniel Y. HARMAN and witnessed by John L. KEITH, Hannah HARMAN, Daniel MITCHELL, and Shele MITCHELL. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old treasure can be returned to the care of the family.
