My ancestors come from Delaware Co. Ohio. Franklin d. White b. 1858 in Delaware Co., Ohio. His father was George Westley White born Aug 1836 in Ohio,, son of James White, b.10 Jan 1804 in Sussex, Delaware, and Elizabeth Frye, b.1810/1811 in Washington, Pa.. James was the son of Fisher White, b. 1774 in Wilmington, NewCastle, Delaware. His father was Benjamin White of Newcastle. Frank named a son Paul. I don't know if there is a connection, but Delaware is so close to Rhode Island, and both families were in Delaware Co., Ohio eventually. So, there may be a connection way back to Trueman Farris's Whites.
