Hello List, I posted my family some time ago, but I will try again. George S. White, according to his son's death certificate, was born in TN. He supposedly was born May 15,1912. He died Dec. 31, 1912. Maybe the doctor was too busy on New Years Eve to make out a death certificate, so he doesn't have one. He died in Spring City, Newton Co., MO from TB. He left his parents when he was 15 because his father or stepfather was harsh. He worked burning coal, but not as a miner. He married Rose Ellen Edman or Edmond and had a large family: Alfred Nora Lola Stella Robert Nova Clora Daisy Rose I would love to find some of the White males of this line to do a DNA test. I believe that Robert was the son who had the only boy: Leonard who married Mary. It has been so many years, but I believe that he had a son named Lenny (Maybe Leonard Jr.) and daughter's Brenda and Linda. I could be mistaken about the girls. Most of George's children lived and died in the Joplin, Jasper Co., MO area, except for Stella who married Jarvis Kennedy and lived in TX. I wish that I had more info about my ggrandfather, but that is it. Everyone is gone who could give even a hint of anything more. Thanks, Judy McDaniel
