From a McArthur, Ohio, newspaper is this obituary. I am interested because this family lived near our William & James White. James claimed they were also a Mayflower descendant. April 6, 1977 PARK BENEFACTOR DIES Harry B. WYMAN for whom McArthur Park was named, died Sunday in a convalescent Home in Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Wyman was born in a log house 1 1/4 miles south of McArthur, the only son of 7 children born to R. H. and MAGGIE ANN WHITE Wyman. Maggie WHITE was a direct descendant of William WHITE of the Mayflower Colony which landed on Plymouth Rock in December, 1620. There is more about Mr. Wyman but n othing more about his wife or the WHITE line. If Maggie is indeed a direct descendant, there is a possibility she is connected to OUR William White also.
