Dex, Maybe you can help me find the parents of my Caroline White who married J. E. Haney in TN. They had two daughters, Mary in 1856 and Martha in 1858, in TN before moving to TX. Daughter, Harriett Frances born in TX in 1860. Johanna was born in 1863 and Caroline died in childbirth. Joe Haney died of measles on his way home from CSA for birth of Johanna. I know what happened to the 4 daughters, but I have no information on Caroline's parents' names. According to family history, Caroline's mother married Joe's father in later years, but would not come to TX because "the women die there." Caroline may have had two sisters, Lizzy and Frances. One married a CSA officer and the other never married. Any connection to any of your Whites? Any help would be greatly appreciated! My immediate line goes back to the MAYFLOWER line, but I do have some of your WHITE line from Ireland in my file. I am quite interested in seeing your lineage, especially your John White Sr. What was his date of birth, etc. Is your White line in a Rootsweb database, or could you send it to me via e-mail? My WHITE line is pretty well covered in Rootsweb database dex22.
