Ferris might be her mother's maiden name. My dad's middle name was "Elder". Henry became a doctor and married Roxanna Denman; the couple remained in Huron Co. Ohio; the girls married and remained local. and I'm not sure what happened to the other boys except that one became a "society doctor" in New York, another moved to Ingham County, Michigan....The parents (John and Mary White) are buried in Berlin Heights.
