    1. [WHITE] Whites in Union Co., -Southern Illinois
    2. Jacquie
    3. To Darlene: I have an unknown White in Southern IL that I have been trying to place for over ten years.....I wonder if she is connected to your line. Her name was Serena White Hudspeth/Hedspeth....wife to Thomas H. Hudspeth.......I was told they married in the 1830....they are my gg-grandparents. They had a large family. One of their daughters, Alabama, is my g-grandmother. I think she was born about 1860, which makes me think they may have married later........they lived in Vienna, Johnson Co., IL while Alabama was a young girl......Interestingly enough, her descendents went into Union County, IL..possibly to be near other relatives? I have never known why they chose Union. What more do you know about your Whites? Jacquie in FL Marguerite Crist Calvin <margaret@jced.org> wrote: Unfortunately, that is all I have. All I have is family tradition on the Mayflower, but I think even German Whites claim that. Sort of like all the men married Indian Prin cesses even though there was "no such thing" according to my research. None of the White researchers in Beaver co, PA seem to think they connect with my WILLIAM WHITE. Ah well!!!
