Ginny:: This came for the Augusta Co. Virrinia court order book. I have been trying to find our Indian roo's for several years but no luck. This is what I have. Augest 24-1754 : Willioam White bound tto David Hayes. November 20 -1754 : Joseph white says his child was bound to David Hayes when he was absent and he is capable of rising him. The court ordered the Child returned to his father.*Joseph Left Virginia prior to 1790 and went to the area along the French Broad River in North Carolinia, probley Henderson , co. The People of Augusta Co. were mainly Scotch-Irish and probley the White's were alos. I do not have proof that this is William was the same William White of Franklin Co. Ga. or if he was the Father of William. But we are fairly sure that there were three son's of the family that came to Franklin, Co. Ga. about the time the county was opened in 1784. William probley the eldest- Jeptha B:? 1760-1770 Abel B:? 1769-1775 This info came from the Chalky , Lyman, Chroniciels of the scotch -Irish Settlement in Virginia, Genealogical Publishing co. 1980. I have several more pages on this Joseph and William but still can not find the roots. On your letter list the HH's and all info for each household that I have sent asking if they have an information to share. I suspect the men are brothers. There are Rolls containing all Indian Families because in the early 1900's, they were entitled to money for past treatment if they could prove descent. Info from those rolls would be very helpful to you.Check the internet. Good Luck. .·:*¨¨*:·.~* Ginny *~.·:*¨¨*:·.
