Yes! I have it documented for eight generations...at least for my direct ascendancy. I also have several branches from that family tree documented. My problem is that I can't any information as to the birth place or parentage of James Taylor White I born about 1700-1710 and married Elizabeth Powe. They appear in Orange Co., Va in Court Records for 1732. A William White appears to be related in some way as does a Rebecca Chism. Any help would be appreciated. 12 marker Family Tree DNA has, so far, has produced only one person that is verified as being related. All others have been a dead ends. Any help would be appreciated. Strangely enough, I have been able to validate all other directly related families ( Whitt, Altizer, Gray, O'Briant, Thielepape, Koch, Davenport, Gambill, Powe and Comstock) to to earlier dates than the one that my first cousin Gifford White and I have been able to validate on the White family.
