Good morning all, What I have so far is from the census records 1841 & 1851 and his daughter's marriage certificate. Joseph WHITE occupation, book seller or stationer,, Somerset and his wife Elizabeth born abt 1786 Old Cleeve, Somerset occupation school mistress. 1841 census Joseph 55 and Elizabeth 55 are living Stevens Court, St Augustine, Bristol, Gloucester also living with them is Ann James 50 and presumably her sons George 24 and Henry 18. 1851 census Joseph has died and Elizabeth White is still living at Stephens Court with Ann James who was born Barnstaple, Devon.
