Phillip, I am so sorry to be so slow on the reply, Computer troubles. Rasp White, is the only name I have for my great-grandfather, this is a family Bible entry. He is buried in Arkansas. I believe he is buried at Burk's Chapel Cemetery in Fulton county, near Camp Arkansas. This is located near Pocahontas Ark, and Salem Ark., in the north eastern part of Arkansas, very near the Missouri border. He had married a Amanda F. Burk. Amanda Burk, is buried at Burk's Chapel as is her father, grandfather, second husband Wiley J. Green, siblings, his daughter my grandmother Ruth C. White-Holloway, and other Burk kin. There are two WHITES in this cemetery. But they are buried, and marked with initials. Amanda remarried this Wiley Green, and had a son with him named Gainie, he was born in 1885. So the dates. work for either grave? Ruth C. was born in 1873, but I don't have her other siblings dates of birth to aliment, the other grave? But I suspect it is E.D. White, because the age more closely matches Amanda's Burk's Chapel Whites; WHITE, E. D. Dec 19, 1843- Feb 7, 1883 WHITE, W.G.. Dec 19 1866- Nov 30, 1872 I think one of these must be Rasp? But Which one? I know very little about Rasp, himself, but his daughter, my grandmother was suppose to have had Indian blood, tribe unknown. Below you will find his Wife and children. If rings the tiniest bells, I'll pursue the clues. I have been contacted by a woman on this list that thinks because of close proximity, of her Whites, in the same area of Arkansas that we connect, and I believe her, but I can't get past this Rasp WHITE. I have just sent for a death certificate of my Grandmother Ruth White- Holloway in the hopes of finding her father's name. But I haven't had much luck with death certificates from this line, due to a fire at the Salem Court house some time back. So I am all ears???? If you have any clues, for me to run down????
