Hello, I am new to this list and wanted to post my interests. I am doing research for the Evans family whose ancestors came from Wales/England>Ontario, Canada>Manitoba, Canada>California>?? Elizabeth May (dob abt 1827) married John Evans (dob 1831) in Huron, Ontario, Canada in Apr,1853. Their children were: Hannah, William, Evan, Isaac, John T. Elizabeth and Joseph. John Evans died in 1861 and Elizabeth remarried Thomas White (dob abt 1821??) in 1864. Thomas had several children and Thomas and Elizabeth had at least one of their own, Amanda Jane. (Thomas previous wife was Martha, who is buried in Huron County, Ontario) History says that Thomas White moved his new family to the Snowflake area of Manitoba, Canada. When?? But, they evidently moved back to Ontario County. When?? Does this sound familiar to anyone at all. Sure would love to make some connections. Thank you, Diane
