Jean, There was a Robert White who moved with Wm C to WI and then on to MO with him. We haven't figured out whether he was a cousin, nephew or younger brother. There was 10 years difference. Celeste was his wife's name. I have just learned our lineage this last year and a half. I have a copy of a sale of land of my gr grandfather's in WI. Wm C was supposedly in the Civil War. I looked but I found 2 Wm s and I don't know which is which. So I can't help much unless I find some more about them. Wm C's wife was a Pillsbury . There were 5 Pillsbury families who moved with them from ME. My gr gr gr grandfather was born in NH in 1740. He is the one who had 15 brothers and sisters including a twin, Thomas. This Thomas never married. Their mother was Elizabeth Mitchell, dau of John Mitchell who later settled in Belfast , ME. Do you want me to find a list of the gr gr and gr gr gr brothers and sisters? My gr grandfather, Wm Esq, also wrote a book about the early history of Belfast. His father, was a senator at one time. I believe he was too. Anyway, they were interested in working in the community and welfare of their country. This is most of what I know so far. I hired a researcher in WI but all she could find was the census record. She found a chapter on the Pillsburys tho. >From what she found out , tho, I went on to ME. Thru a lot of volunteers and the Pillsbury book, I found the rest. Elnora
