Hello, White listers. I need help. I've tried almost every trick I know. My gggreat grandfarther was Gaberiel White, who was born in Morgan CO., GA in 1798. He married Virginia Taylor, born there in 1805. I would like information on their parents, ancestors. We know Gaberiel's father was James Wgite, born in S.C. (date unknown, but probably about 1770-75).James married Hannah Hughey on 8 Dec. 1822 (from Book of GA Marriages). We know James' father was named Joseph, and that he lived in S.C. We know this becasue Joseph gave three slaves to his son, James, in Morgan Co. (We have a recortd of this.) However, that's all we know of Joseph. James was probably born about 1775. So his father, Joseph, must have been born about 1750- 55. I have no indication where, or who his parents were. Can anybody on the list help me? It would be appriciated. Bill Mitchell
