They were William WHITE (1780-1850) married to Hannah RUSSELL (1782-1880). Their son, my grgrgrandfather, Edward WHITE was born "on the 11th of November, 1822 about 24 miles from Philadelphia and near the river Schuylkill." (How do you pronounce that name?) William, Daniel and Stephen WHITE were also born at this place. they left in 1825 and came north to Canada. Would they be in the index of the book? >> Janet, So sorry to say that is a bit too late for the book :( The book goes from abt 1700-1800 with most of the info concentrating on the time period from 1755-95 when the Indian troubles in PA were at their height. I wish I could be of more help to you.
