Hi Elnora, Omro, Wis was only 21 miles from where I lived in Fond du Lac, WI. My White family lived in Portage Co., Wis and in Waushara, Wis. In fact the family lived in several areas of Wis. They had moved from NY to Canada in 1783, into Maine ca 1830, to Jefferson Co., Wis. in abt 1853, then to Portage Co.,Wis., then to Minn. by 1870 then on to So. Dakota and back to Minn and Superior, Wis. Anything sound famliar to you? Jean R
