Janet, I have Absolum White also, born abt1772, who mar Phebey Adcock in Randolph Co, NC in 1801, had my Nathan White b 1802 and I am not sure of other children...but Nathan also named a son Absalom, b 1828 Giles, Co, Tn (died in Tippah Co, Ms). The first Absalom White seems to have been named for his maternal grandfather, Absolum Haworth, and Absolum White name followed in several lines after that. I found it a little hard to read your tree on web page, and wonder if you could give me a little more information on your Absalom...where born, where lived, etc and I will try to merge the two families.
