    3. I am trying to get some information on my Great-uncle H.K. WHITE he was in the Civil War enlisted July 22, 1861 in PA. In his obituary it states he was in the PA 62nd Reg. he was wounded at Gaines Mills and was discharged in Philadelphia in 1864. When I try to look up his record all I can find is (served PA and Transferred RC) the source of this is "History of Pennsylvania Volunteers, 1861-1865" Published in 1870 by the State of PA. Could some one tell me what the abbreviation R C stands for? Thank you for any help on this matter. Sammy ACREE Ehrnman
