Hi, I am Dorothy White Harkins, grew up in Caldwell County, Kentucky, Our ancestors came from Virginia, into Ky about 1800 and there are a lot of us. I am so disappointed that I can find very few folks researching the Whites of my area. The first White of our line was George WHITE, born in Louisa County, Virginia in 1777. His father was Robert White, and grandfather was Elisha White. The wife of Robert was Elizabeth of Kent, England. George was the first to come to Kentucky. I am still searching.
