Here is another White line that is located in Texas. I have not seen any links that appear obvious though. It is a very small family and my kids and I appear to be the last in the line for several generations. The start of the line (as far back as we know) is John Carey White who was born in Dekalb County, GA in 1816 he died in 1890 in Millican Texas. Millican is located in Grimes County south of College Station. We know he was in the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836 and was given land from the Republic of Texas. So he came to Texas while it was still part of Mexico. His son was James Cobbs White born in 1858 in Millican and his son (my grandfather)was also named James Cobbs White (born 1894) and he was born in Navasota. My Uncle was also named James Cobb White (they forgot about the "s" on Cobbs) It would appear that anyone who has a J.C. White (John Carey or James Cobbs) probably should link up and compare notes.
